Meet the People - Part 4

After University, I began my career as a trade’s union official before completing a business degree, and eventually becoming a franchisee of McDonalds in Evesham. As well as being a trustee at Wyre Forest C.A.B, I also volunteer at Worcester C.A.B, not only to help but also to give me an understanding of the delights of Petra, and what volunteers have to deal with. I have been very impressed by the commitment of volunteers, staff, and managers.

Since joining Wyre Forest, I have been mainly involved with building awareness in the community, by producing press releases and community support; although much needs to be done. I am also interested in operational excellence and finance.

I have a daughter and two grandchildren, who live in Surrey, and am married to Jan and we have two children; John who works for a public relations consultancy in London, and Issy who is at University in America.
